| The
18th Vermont Regiment, Inc., formed in 1996, is an ad hoc
group of ten friends who commissioned themselves to raise money for
the Preservation of American Civil War (ACW) battlefields. Contact Russ

| The
Vermont Civil War Hemlocks,
Company A, 3rd Vt. Inf. Regiment, 6th Corps is a living history
organization working to preserve the memory of the Vermont's who
served in the War of the Rebellion. Inducted in 1963, The Hemlocks are
involved in ACW historical research projects, active in ACW
educational activities, and support ACW battlefield sites preservation

| The
Civil War Medical Coalition (CWMC) is an ad hoc group of 5
uniformed reenactors and 10 non uniformed members. Each CWMC reenactor
represents one real individual who served in the ACW as a medical
surgeon. Since medical personnel were non combatants, the CWMC reenact
in both Blue and Gray. The CWMC recruited themselves "to preserve
the memory and understanding of all aspects of ACW medical history and
to honor the services of ACW medical personnel. The CWMC have answered
roll call to donate their time and equipment at about 15 ACW events in

The
Sons of Union Veterans
(SUV) Ripley Camp, Rutland Vermont, is a non-uniformed arm of the Grand
Army of the Republic (GAR). SUV members are direct descendants
of ACW Veterans with many non-descendants as associate members.
The SUV, Ripley Camp, invites anyone to join them at their
monthly meetings at 7:00PM on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the
American Legion Post, Washington Street, Rutland.
